Please join us on August 23, 2009 to kick-off the Centennial yearlong commemoration at our Picnic in the Park!

This gate-free day is to encourage people to enjoy the park as people did historically-- picnicking with their families. You can join in at one of two locations, Glacier Park Lodge in East Glacier or Lake McDonald Lodge on Lake McDonald between 11 AM and 4:00 PM. The full calendar of centennial activities will be unveiled consisting of educational programs, commemorative events, centennial products, and legacy projects. Light music by renown Glacier Park musicians, Jack Gladstone and David Walburn, will be lifting our spirits as we move into the centennial year. Glacier Park, Incorporated will be selling picnic style lunches and the Centennial Program will be providing cake.
